Canaan-Land Divine Outreach is the foundation for operation total deliverance of Africa to Christ. This foundation is a charitable non denominational and a non-profit making Christian organization. It is a member of Canaan-Land Divine Ventures. Canaan-Land Divine Ventures as a holding company is incorporated under the company and Allied matters Act Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, 1990. The concept of the foundation is the positive vision of our Christian Brother, Rev. (Dr.) Dennis Chikere.
This vision was influenced by his feeling for the poor, hungry, homeless, underprivileged and oppressed people of Africa. His Evangelical missions that took him to almost every rural community in almost all countries of Africa brought him face to face with the poor conditions of the down trodden capacity. Rev. (Dr.) Dennis was indeed touched by their plight, environment and general conditions. But what agitates and worry his mind most was the best, quickest and most convenient way to help and deliver these people. As expected of every Christian and soldier of Christ, Rev. (Dr.) Denis took the case of these down trodden people of Africa to the heavenly court of our Almighty Jehovah God, through prayer. On September 22nd, 1999, Rev. (Dr) Dennis Chikere was divinely given the mandate to establish Canaan-Land Divine Outreach. The birth of outreach became the beginning of hope of spiritual and moral salvation of these people. This foundation is conceptualized along the following lines to ensure departmentalization, specialization and efficiency.

I have personally traversed the continent of Africa and posses personal knowledge of the people, environment, lifestyle, culture and peculiar problems. The indigenous people of Africa are bedeviled with fratricidal wars, tribal rivalry, illiteracy, ignorance and exploitation by a few priviledge class. Notwithstanding that the land of Africa is endowed and blessed with abundant natural resources, yet the people lack the basic needs of life amidst plenty. Often times, I tarry to ask myself, "Is the land and its people operating under curse or is the agony in the land self inflict? Further, "Is it the wish and will of god that parents should be murdered in the face of their children and vice versa in the name of wars?, How proper and right is it for able bodied and fit men and women to loose their limbs and other body members in the course of wars? How natural is natural disability? Should disabled persons necessarily become undue burdens and liabilities to the society, instead of assets? What about the abandoned newborn babies and old persons whose hands and limbs have become weak as a result of old age? Maladjusted and narcotic bound and spiritually obligated to ensure that this foundation is established for the benefit of these less priviledge and to the everlasting Glory of God.
How can these objectives be achieved?
Firstly, it is our conviction that the prevalent poverty of the land is self-inflicted. Tribal wars and conflicts are rooted in greed and devilish avarice. There are prevalence of traditional religions that emphasize materialism, wars and vendetta than Christian love, forgiveness and spirituality.
Therefore, our communications department, namely television and radio is exclusively devoted to Evangelism, Christian education and spread of the gospel. Our living words shall be directed to the political class, leaders of thought, captains of industries and all propagators of the religions that preach materialism, wars and vendetta than love, forgiveness and spirituality.
Secondly, our attention shall also focus on existing social problems. We shall endeavour to ameliorate if not eradicate them completely. The foundation has therefore established departments for the care of orphans, infirm persons, old and aged persons, and an academy for rehabilitation of maladjusted and socially deviant youths, the care and training of inmates of the above name departments shall strictly be and remain in conformity with basic Christian principles as stipulated by our Lord Jesus Christ and expounded by his disciples in the bible. Our anointed and appointed men and women of God shall occasionally counsel and conduct spiritual healings as the occasions demand.
May we proceed to the site of these departments to appreciate what the Lord has done so far, what the Lord is still doing and what the Lord shall accomplish by means of the foundation.
