CANAAN-LAND
DIVINE YOUTHS REHABILITATION HOME
One of the most important aspect of this Divine project is to carry out message of the salvation to the maladjusted and misdirected youths of Africa. The scourge of drugs and alcoholic addiction in this age is no doubt a social and spiritual problem. So many children have failed and fallen below the expectation and enviable standards set by their parents and guardians. University and college students have suddenly derailed from their academic courses of study as youth apprentices and servants have abandoned their life vocations because of this scourge of addiction. Addiction, we all know, is a psychological aberration. It is a condition of mental spiritual slavery to the evil subject of addiction. This subject of addiction, be it illicit drug or alcohol, tends to enslave, subjugate and overtake every aspect of the life of the person.
Canaan Land Divine Youths Rehabilitation Home has assembled a team of psychologists, religious philosophers and career counsellors for the salvation of these youths. This department has been put under the charge of Rev. Mathew Chikere.
In addition to convincing these youths to voluntarily abandon the obnoxious habits they have become addicted to, the outreach shall encourage them to carry our message of salvation to the merchants and producers of their subject of addiction. Therefore, we intend to tackle the problem from its root. This is because, if there are no available drugs, there would not be youths addicted to them. In truth, we view this project as the most important of the rest of the project. This is the reason for which we devoted the eight and 9th floor of the Canaan-Land Divine Mansion Phase II to the Rehabilitation Home.
Nobody would deny that these are the leaders of tomorrow. Our complacency on this very important social malaise may leave the African society with a generation of mad parents and leaders in the nearest future. Please, think about it, shall that generation not be the one with the worst curse from God? Once more, it is our natural responsibility and we must not abdicate or abandon it, otherwise the worst place in hell shall be waiting for us all.
